Inspired by the spirit of play at Spielwarenmesse 2024
February 23rd, 2024 – The start of 2024 is impactful one for Makeree platform team due to the business opportunities established within Spielwarenmesse 2024 – the largest international toys industry trade show of high importance for all the participants. It represents the largest and most comprehensive play-focused experience unifying the toy industry’s entire ecosystem with key players to help with business development and sourcing the latest products from across all forms and stages of play. Featuring thousands of new and unique toys, games, edutainment, entertainment-driven experiences, and more from around the world, Spielwarenmesse offers attendees on annual basis a competitive edge that no other trade event can match. Uniting the global play community in Nuremberg, Germany, the Toy Fair which took place from January 30th to February 3rd, underscored the creativity, business & networking opportunities, exchange of information that define the industry. This year, Spielwarenmesse event in figures looks impressive: 2,354 exhibitors from 68 countries, 57,000 visitors from 125 countries, 165,000 m2.
Similarly to previous Spielwarenmesse editions, we explored this year again a world of endless possibilities, inspiring shows that offered a fantastic way to: connect with our actual clients, make new connections, and discover new business opportunities. In addition to exploring an array of products designed for kids as well as kids at heart 😊, including skill-building toys and games, emerging tech toys, as well as classic playthings, the Toy Fair served as a hub for exchanging ideas on the most critical issues and topics impacting the play industry worldwide. In our interactions with industry’s experts we addressed everything from toy safety, generative AI, toy trends, social media, to technology specific topics.
We were fortunate to address specific topics in meetings with founders, experts in the toys industry, including MAKEREE Platform features and advantages from UX perspective, such as:

- community and brand advocacy through an experience of gamified instructions,
