The Makeree Education Difference

People, children in particular, are using their hands less and less to create and therefor are not acquiring the basic physical creation skills that were commonly acquired years ago. This is a result of so much in our lives going digital. While we are advancing at a rapid pace, simple life skills, such as cooking, sewing, building, arts and crafts, are being neglected.

When Makeree was founded, we focused mostly on products that can teach hands-on skills & STEM (science, technology, engineering & math). We learned that access to effective STEM and hands-on skill education is limited to a very small percentage of the world population and that is mostly because traditional techniques of teaching these skills are ineffective or not suitable for mass training.

Now, after years of R&D and testing, Makeree is partnering with leading manufactures and building all-in-one curriculum solutions that are helping change all of this by providing students with a way to learn these crucial skills in a fun, interactive and social way. Using their smartphones, students can learn a full curriculum and follow step by step project-based lessons and courses.  Makeree allows students to upload project photos and receive feedback from teachers and peers. Our courses are perfect for individual, home schooling use and group workshops.

Basic STEM & Arduino

This fundamental course allows experiencing science in an exciting manner. By building various exciting inventions, participants enjoy fiddling with mechanics, sound, motion and experimenting with the Arduino platform.

Strawbees EDU

Strawbees is an award-winning prototyping and construction toy.  By building large and small mechanical objects with the Strawbees construction system, Kids of all ages learn how to become inventors. Possibilities are endless.

Geomag EDU

Geomag Education sets introduce an interdisciplinary approach to learning where students apply Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in contexts that reflect real-life experiences and applications.
